FAO Apple Users - Big Sur

Some of you may be aware that Apple released a further operating system update on Thursday of last week titled 'Big Sur' and you may be being prompted to install this. Currently we would recommend that you do not do this on work computers.

We are testing the software update, but are already aware that certain elements including Sophos are not currently fully compatible. Once we are fully comfortable with the software we will carry out an update project, much like the Catalina one currently ongoing, to update the Gardens & Museums Apple computers. 

For those within the Jamf Apple Service, we will look to block the 'Big Sur' notification over the next few days.
